纳米金是指金的粒径為(wèi)1-100nm之间的粒子，分(fēn)散在水溶液或有(yǒu)机溶液中。纳米金在一些特定的晶面上存在着表面電(diàn)子态，其费米能(néng)级恰好位于體(tǐ)能(néng)带结构沿该晶向的禁带中，形成只能(néng)平行于表面方向的二维電(diàn)子云。这是纳米金的表面效应，量子效应和宏观量子隧道效应的物(wù)理(lǐ)基础。纳米金随其直径由大而小(xiǎo)呈现深黄色至黑色，纳米金在520nm左右可(kě)见光谱范围之间有(yǒu)一个金的横向伸缩振动吸收峰，吸收波長(cháng)随金粒子粒径表达而增加，当有(yǒu)纳米金棒生成时，在近红外处就会出现吸收峰。当粒径从小(xiǎo)到大变化时，溶液的颜色这一次表现為(wèi)深黄色，粉红色，酒红色，深红色，蓝色的变化。随着金纳米粒子的聚沉，吸收峰会变宽。胶體(tǐ)金的性质主要取决于纳米金粒子的粒径及其表面修饰。

PEG化金纳米粒子可(kě)以避免纳米材料在合成过程中所吸附的表面活性剂（CTAB）所造成的生物(wù)毒性，进一步提高其水溶性、生物(wù)相容性和體(tǐ)内循环时间，从而获得更加良好的诊断、成像和光热治疗的能(néng)力。通过PEG的官能(néng)团-COOH，-NH2，-FA，-Biotin等活性基团连接生物(wù)分(fēn)子，利用(yòng)生物(wù)分(fēn)子的特异性识别作用(yòng)，使得金纳米粒子表面偶联特异性分(fēn)子实现对肿瘤的主动靶向诊断和治疗研究。
